Visions of a past relationship leave Matthew broken and isolated until an intimate encounter at a porn arcade opens a peephole to unexpected possibilities.

The question the film asks isn’t so much whether sex should be left to adults, as to whether intimacy might be something one cannot truly achieve or maintain before reaching a certain level of emotional experience. Daniels communicates pain and heartbreak, but by the end of the 26-minute running time he also projects a sense of new found maturity.

This big-screen adaptation of playwright Terrence McNally's Broadway hit revolves around the tender bonding of eight gay Manhattanites. Over time, the men meet at a picturesque lakeside country getaway to share stories, reminiscences and their fears about commitment, the omnipresent specter of AIDS and life in general.

Gregory invites seven friends to spend the summer at his large, secluded 19th-century home in upstate New York.
